About The Stables at Sturgeon Creek
Located in Brunswick County (famous for the stew by the same name), the 72 acres presently known as The Stables at Sturgeon Creek has a recorded history dating back to the late 1700’s. One of the original houses is still standing and was recently restored to life with the addition of a modern kitchen and bathroom.

In addition to modern conveniences, there are two original working fireplaces and two upstairs rooms, each with its own staircase. The cottage provides quaint comfortable rooms in which bridal parties and others can prepare for their special day.
